Once upon a time there lived a hare and a tortoise in a forest. The hare was very proud of his speed. He always laughed at the slow tortoise. One day, the tortoise got angry and challenged the hare to run a race. The hare agreed and started running fast. Soon he was far ahead. He thought of taking some rest and slept under a tree. But the tortoise moved slowly and steadily. After some time, he reached the goal. When the hare woke up, he saw the tortoise already there. The hare felt ashamed and bowed his head.
Moral: Slow and steady wins the race.
